Unmasking evil and walking toward the Light

In our journey through life, we often see only the surface of things. However each human soul is called to look deeper. Behind every thought, word, and event, there is a hidden spiritual dimension. Our task is to learn how to unmask the evil that hides beneath appearances and to seek always what is true, good, and aligned with Divine Will, the Virtuous Path. This requires discipline, deep self-examination, and a firm desire to grow in holiness.

To unmask evil means to test every thought and action to see whether it comes from God or not. This is not easy. Evil often disguises itself as something harmless or even good. It may appear in the form of pride dressed as self-confidence, laziness disguised as serenity, or envy hidden under the name of justice. The devil does not always use violence or clear hatred; he often uses confusion, distraction, and lies. He attacks our minds with doubts and our hearts with temptations. That is why we must look into ourselves deeply and wisely. We must not let any thought or feeling pass without being tested. Is this idea leading me closer to God or away from Him? Does this action reflect God or the darkened world?

This work of constant examination is not to become proud or to think we can be like God, but to belong more fully to Him. We are not trying to replace Him but to reflect His Light. As human souls, we are called to strive for spiritual purity—not perfection in the worldly sense, but a heart that truly seeks God above all. We must learn to deny ourselves when our desires lead us away from holiness, and instead choose what is right, even when it is painful. This inner battle, this intransigence with ourselves, is how we polish our soul and our spirit to become more transparent on Heaven.

Besides, Saint Paul writes that our real enemies are not people of flesh and blood, but “the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12). These demonic forces attack us physically, psychologically, and spiritually. They sow division in families, promote addiction and despair, and whisper lies into our hearts that we are worthless, alone, or beyond forgiveness. They want to block our spiritual evolution and keep us far from the Virtuous Path to Heaven. But we are not defenseless.

Saint Paul tells us to put on the full armor of God. This armor is spiritual and powerful. Truth is our belt—it keeps us upright. Justice is our breastplate—it protects our heart. The Gospel of Peace is our foundation—it guides our steps. Faith is our shield—it protects us from doubt and temptation. Salvation is our helmet—it guards our mind. And the Word of God is our sword—it fights lies with Divine Truth. Prayer is what keeps all this armor strong. We must pray at all times, not only for ourselves, but for all humans.

Therefore, Satan and his demonic forces do not simply seek to cause discomfort or temporary hardship; their true mission is total destruction—physical, psychological, and spiritual. These entities operate with subtlety and intelligence, often hiding behind what appears ordinary, pleasurable, or even harmless. Their ultimate aim is to prevent the soul from reaching union with the Divine, to stop our evolution toward Light, Truth, and Love. They do this by acting on all dimensions of human existence.

Physically, demons rarely intervene in direct, visible ways, but their influence can guide individuals toward choices that damage or destroy the body, which is itself a sacred vessel. They lead people into addictions—alcohol, drugs, excessive consumption of food, and other compulsions—because such behaviors weaken the will and dull the conscience. They encourage forms of extreme hedonism, seducing the body with pleasure to the point where it becomes enslaved to desire and unable to act freely. Sometimes they push toward the opposite extreme: self-neglect, a rejection of self-care that may arise from laziness, burnout, or even the belief that one's body is unworthy of love or attention. Violence is another powerful tool: demons stir up hatred and anger in hearts, which then spill into abuse, war, and cruelty. Domestic violence, murder, and physical conflict often have spiritual roots. Even distraction through constant comfort—passive entertainment, overindulgence in sensuality, or the obsession with superficial appearances—can serve their goals, as it lulls the soul into sleep and inactivity.

Psychologically, demons are especially cunning. The human mind, being the link between soul and body, is a central battlefield. Demonic forces are masters of suggestion. They plant lies in the form of intrusive thoughts: "You are worthless," "You will never change," "There is no hope for you." These thoughts often arrive in moments of fatigue or weakness and, if believed, take root in the heart. They inflate fear and anxiety, exaggerating risks and feeding paranoia, until a person becomes paralyzed and unable to trust life or God. Depression and despair are often exploited and/or caused by demonic presence, as demons capitalise on a person’s wounds, losses, and trauma to whisper: "There is no meaning, no redemption, no way out." They confuse identity, not just in terms of gender or role in society, but in a deeper spiritual sense—twisting one’s perception of self-worth, morality, and purpose. This confusion leaves people lost and vulnerable to manipulation.

Another common tactic is isolation. By sowing seeds of mistrust, suspicion, or even false independence, demons pull individuals away from families, friends, and spiritual communities. Isolation weakens us, because Love and Truth grow in relationship. Pride is often used as a mask: they convince us we don’t need anyone, that we’re better off alone, or that no one understands us. This creates spiritual blindness. Interestingly, demons use both extremes: they may inflate the ego until someone becomes arrogant, or crush it until one is stuck in deep self-hatred. Both are equally destructive. They destabilise the personality and block the person from finding interior peace and harmony.

But the most dangerous level is spiritual destruction, which is the very core of their mission. Here, the attack becomes existential. Demons tempt us to sin repeatedly, knowing that frequent sin dulls the conscience and forms habits. Over time, those habits become vices—chronic patterns that enslave the soul and create distance from the Divine. They use the illusion of harmlessness to justify evil: "It’s not that bad," or "Everyone does it." With time, this leads to spiritual numbness.

Another subtle tactic is spiritual pride. As someone begins to grow or practice their faith, demons may inflate the ego, making them feel superior to others. Instead of deepening in humility, the person begins to worship their own image of virtue. They may speak piously, but act without Love. Apathy and lukewarmness are perhaps the most quiet and effective demonic strategies. Many people do not reject God—they just delay prayer, ignore their conscience, or become too busy with distractions. Time slips away, and the soul slowly drifts into coldness without realizing it.

Doubt in God is often encouraged. Demons twist sacred teachings, suggesting that God is unjust, cruel, or distant. This intellectual confusion weakens faith. In some cases, they direct souls toward spiritual practices that are dangerous—forms of occultism, divination, or “light spirituality” that look harmless but are disconnected from Truth and lead toward false gods or energies. They may even offer a form of "false peace"—a calmness that comes from avoiding Truth and indulging in sin—which deceives the soul into thinking all is well, when in fact, it is asleep and vulnerable.

Finally, when someone begins to truly convert, to walk the Path of Light, that is often when the most brutal attacks come. Exhaustion, temptation, and discouragement increase. The demons know that spiritual rebirth threatens their control, so they try to strike the soul down with thoughts like: "It’s useless," "You haven’t changed," or "You’ll always fall back." They want the soul to give up just before it blossoms.

Yet, despite the depth of their attacks, these forces are not invincible. They are limited, and they flee in the presence of True Light, Love, and Humility. The Divine has given us all the tools to resist them. Recognizing their strategies is the first step in breaking their power. Through constant awareness, prayer, purification, and acts of selfless Love, the soul regains strength. Demons cannot stand in the presence of real holiness. Every small choice for Truth, every act of forgiveness, every effort to rise after falling, weakens their grip and brings the soul closer to its true destiny: union with the Divine.

And what about those who oppose us in the world? We must remember: every human is created by God and is capable of salvation. Even those who hate or hurt us are not our true enemies. We must pray for their conversion, not hate them. We must thank God for them, because they test our love and help us grow in patience and virtue. Every time we suffer for doing good, we are walking in the footsteps of God, and we are earning treasures in Heaven.

There is also a higher solution: the restoration of lost harmony between Heaven and Earth. This harmony—called kosmos in ancient Greek—was part of the original Beauty of Creation. We must return to it by building a relationship between the Celestial and the earthly, between Angels and human beings, between God and His human creatures. This is not imagination. It is possible through Love. Every prayer, every kind action, every small sacrifice filled with Love helps to bring this Harmony back. The more we act with sincere Love, the more we call upon Heaven to help Earth.

So how do we recognise and resist the demonic strategies meant to destroy us?

1. Distraction and noise: Evil uses constant noise—social media, gossip, shallow entertainment—to stop us from thinking deeply. We must create silence in our lives to hear God.

2. Fear and despair: Evil whispers that we are alone or doomed. But hope in God is stronger than any fear.

3. Pride and selfishness: Evil tells us to serve ourselves first. We must learn humility and serve others, as Jesus did.

4. Confusion and Relativism: Evil says there is no truth. We must stand on the Word of God, which is Eternal and Unchanging.

5. Temptation through Pleasure or Pain: Whether through comfort or suffering, the devil tries to weaken our will. We must stay close to God, with prayers, practice of Virtues and good deeds.

To grow spiritually, we must stay close to the Light — that is, to what is True, Good, and Just. This means being honest with ourselves, acknowledging our faults, and working daily to become better. It involves practicing Mindfulness, Compassion, Self-discipline, Altruism, and other Virtues, doing good deeds, staying connected to a community that shares our values, and acting with love toward all beings. Through prayer, meditation, reflection, practice of Virtues, acts of kindness, the more we choose Truth and Love, the less power negativity, hatred, and darkness have over our lives.

In the end, evil may be strong, but God is infinitely stronger. Light always defeats darkness. We are not alone in this fight. Angels fight beside us. Saints pray for us. And Christ walks ahead of us, showing the way. Our task is to keep going, always rising again, always choosing Love, always turning our face toward Heaven.

 

The Great Warning is the Last Great Gift of God

Many people in the world today don’t believe in God or have forgotten Him. They are busy with daily life and don’t think much about their soul and their spirit. But God is a Loving Father. He doesn’t want anyone to be lost. Because of this, He has decided to send the world a special moment. This moment is called The Great Warning. It is also called the Illumination of Conscience. This event will be very big! It will touch every person in the world. It is the last Big Gift of God’s Mercy before harder times come.

The Great Warning isn’t something new. For many years, God, Jesus, and the Virgin Mary have told people about this event. They spoke to many chosen souls across the world. These messages were given through dreams, visions, and inner voices. All the messages talk about the same thing. They say that God will allow people to see their own soul the way He sees it. Every person will understand the good and bad they have done. Everyone will see how their sins have hurt themselves, others, and God. This will be very hard, but it will also be a Great Act of Love.

What will happen during the Great Warning?

According to Luz de Maria and other modern prophets, before the Great Warning happens, there will be signs in the sky. People will see a very Big Cross in the sky. It will shine with Great Light. It will be brighter than the sun. Everyone on Earth will see this Cross. It will stay in the sky for several days. Then, something like two stars will crash in the sky. There will be a strong light and a loud sound. The sky will become dark, and then very bright. This will scare many people. But it won’t hurt the body. It isn’t a physical disaster. It’s a spiritual one.

After this cosmic sign, the real Warning will begin. Every person on Earth will feel it. It doesn’t matter if someone believes in God or not. It doesn’t matter where they live. It doesn’t matter what religion they are. Everyone will be alone, with only their soul and God. Time will feel like it’s stopped. This moment will last around 15 to 20 minutes, but it will feel much longer. In this time, every person will see all their sins. They will see the good they didn’t do. They will feel the pain of their sins. They will see the effects of their actions on other people. They will feel sorry or afraid. Many will cry.

This experience will be like watching a movie of your life. But it won’t be a normal film. You’ll feel every moment deeply. You’ll feel the pain you gave to others. You’ll feel the sadness that God feels when we sin. You’ll also feel joy when you remember the good things you did. But for most people, it will be very hard. Some may even want to die because they feel so bad. Others will repent and turn back to God.

Why is God sending this Warning?

God is sending this Warning because He loves us. Many people are far from Him. They live in sin and don’t even know it. Some have never heard the Truth. Others have forgotten it. The world today is full of lies, pride, hate, and confusion. The Warning is like a strong shake to wake up the souls. It’s not a punishment. It’s a chance. It’s a chance to see the Truth. It’s a chance to return to God. It’s a call to conversion.

This is the last Big Act of God’s Mercy before a time of suffering comes. After the Warning, there will be a Great Miracle for the whole world. This Miracle will prove that the Warning came from God. After the Miracle, there will be a time of punishment for the world. This will be a purification. But the Warning comes first, because God wants to give us a choice. He wants us to decide: do we want to live with Him or without Him?

The Warning is also a preparation. It prepares the heart for the days that come soon. It helps people change before the punishment arrives. It’s also a way to bring Unity. If many people repent, the punishment may be smaller. But if people ignore the Warning, things will get even worse.

How will people feel during the Warning?

Many people will feel great fear. Others will feel great sorrow. Some may feel joy because they are ready. It depends on the state of each soul. If a person is close to God, they will feel peace. If a person is far from God, they’ll feel emptiness. Some people may feel like God is not there. They’ll feel alone and scared. This is called the “absence of God.” It’s a very painful feeling. It’s what hell is like.

Luz de Maria had a vision of the Warning. She felt very bad during it. She felt deep loneliness. She felt all the pain of sins like abortion, suicide, abuse, and hate. She felt that God had left her. It was very scary. But then, after a long time, she felt Peace. She said that the Warning is something no one can really be ready for, but it will change your life forever.

Another visionary named Conchita from Garabandal said the same thing. She saw the Warning in a vision. She said it will be like a purification. Everyone will see themselves like God sees them. She said even non-believers will know it comes from God. But many will still reject it. She said some people may even die from the shock or the fear. Others will run to the church and confess their sins. Some will be angry and say it’s fake.

What do other messages say?

Many saints and mystics have spoken about the Warning. A woman named Maria Esperanza said that it will be like a bright day of Light. People’s hearts will be shaken. They’ll see all their sins. They’ll want to fix their lives and give their hearts to Jesus.

In Medjugorje, one of the visionaries said that there will be three warnings. The Warning is the first one. Then there will be a visible sign for the whole world. Then the time of Mercy will end. She said we must convert now. We must not wait. Time is short.

In other places, like El Escorial and Betania, the Virgin Mary also spoke about this. She said that the Warning is very near. She said it’s a Great Act of Love from God. She said that we must prepare with prayer, confession, and penance.

Saint Faustina also had a message from Jesus. He told her that before the Judgement Day, there will be a sign in the sky. A Cross will appear. Then there will be darkness. Then lights will come from the wounds of Jesus and shine on the Earth. This is very similar to the Warning.

Father Stefano Gobbi, a holy priest from Italy, received many messages from the Blessed Virgin Mary. This was part of the Marian Movement of Priests. In the messages, Mary spoke about the Warning too.

She said:

“The Holy Spirit will come, to prepare the glorious reign of Christ. It will be a Reign of Grace, Holiness, Love, Justice and Peace. With His Divine Fire, He will open the hearts of all and will illuminate all consciences.”

She explained that this will be like a small judgment. Everyone will see their life in the Light of God. She said:

“It will be something very great, that has never happened before. It will be like a small judgment and everyone will see their life and all their works in the light of God.”

This message is very similar to what others have received. Don Gobbi explained that this Warning is not the end, but the beginning of a new time. It is a great moment of grace. But it also brings responsibility. People must decide: Do I follow God or not?

Mary told Don Gobbi that the Luminous Cross in the sky will be a sign. It will stretch from east to west. It will show that Jesus is coming soon in His glory. It will mark the end of the time of darkness and the beginning of the New Era.

She said:

“The Luminous Cross that will appear in the sky at the end of the purification and the great tribulation, will be the door that opens the dark tomb where humanity lies, to bring it into the New Kingdom of Life.”

These messages are full of Hope. But they also ask for serious preparation. Don Stefano Gobbi said many times that now is the time to pray, confess, and return to God. The Warning will be sudden. But God is preparing us with these words of Love.

How can we prepare?

The best way to prepare for the Warning is to be in the state of Grace.We should pray every day. We should practise and spread Virtues (Love, Peace, Harmony, Righteousness, Loyalty, Respect, Altruism). We should do good deeds. We should try to love others. The Warning isn’t something to be afraid of if you love and follow God. It’s a Divine Gift. It is a Great Help. It will show us the Truth. It will give us the chance to say sorry and change. But if we are not ready, it will be very painful. That’s why it’s important to start now.

God always gives us time. He does not want to punish. He wants to forgive. But He also respects our freedom. He won’t force us. He lets us choose. That’s why the Warning is important. It gives us the Light to see clearly. Then we must choose the path we want.

What will happen after the Warning?

After the Warning, there will be many changes. Some people will repent and become holy. Others will become harder and will hate God more. Many will try to explain the Warning in scientific ways. They will say it was a natural thing. They will try to lead people away from the Truth.

But those who believe will become stronger. Many souls will return to God. A Great Miracle will come after. Then a time of Peace will begin for those who love God. But before that, there will be suffering. There will be wars, disease, and darkness. That is why we must be strong.

Jesus told Luz de Maria that the whole Universe is waiting to be clean. Even nature is hurt by sin. That’s why the sky and the stars will show signs. All of this is to bring New Life. God is making all things new.

Final words

The Great Warning is real. It’s coming. We don’t know the day or the hour. But the signs show us it’s close. The world is in crisis. People are turning away from God. That’s why God is sending this last chance. It is His way of calling us home.

We must not wait. We must change our lives now. We must pray more. We must practise Virtues. We must forgive others. We must help those in need. We must LOVE.

When the Great Warning comes, it will be hard. But it will also be beautiful. It will be the moment when many people see how much God loves them. Even in pain, His Love will shine. Let’s get ready. Let’s open our hearts. Let’s say yes to God.

This is the Last Great Gift of God before the Time of Justice. Let’s not waste it!

The Path Toward Divine Wisdom

 

In the quest for divine wisdom, three essential virtues illuminate our journey: humility, purity, and reverence for God. Each of these qualities not only paves the way to greater spiritual insight but also transforms our lives, helping us align with the Creator's will. Rooted deeply in both philosophical and religious traditions, these principles form the cornerstone for attaining authentic wisdom—a knowledge that transcends human understanding and fosters a profound connection with the divine.

 

Humility: "Wisdom Dwells with the Humble" (Pr 11:2)

The journey to divine understanding begins with humility. As the book of Proverbs states, “Wisdom dwells with the humble” (Pr 11:2). In today’s world, pride often leads many to overestimate human intellect, believing they can surpass the infinite knowledge of God. This tendency is especially evident in the realm of innovation, where individuals claim to "discover" or "invent" phenomena that have always existed within the divine order of creation. From scientific progress to technological marvels, such achievements are not solely products of human ingenuity but rather revelations of eternal truths embedded in creation by the Creator.

Acknowledging one’s limitations is fundamental for receiving divine knowledge. The apostle Paul advises in 1 Corinthians 3:18-19, “Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.” Only by admitting our finite understanding can we prepare ourselves to embrace the infinite wisdom of the divine.

By fostering a spirit of humility, we recognize our role as learners, not masters, and accept that all true knowledge and understanding originate from God.

 

Purity: "Wisdom Does Not Enter an Evil Soul" (Sap 1:4)

The second condition for acquiring divine wisdom is purity. The book of Wisdom cautions, “Wisdom does not enter a soul that plots evil, nor dwell in a body that is in bondage to sin” (Sap 1:4). To fully grasp the essence of divine understanding, it is necessary to cleanse both heart and mind. Such purification involves more than outward actions; it requires mastering inner passions, desires, and harmful inclinations that obscure the soul and hinder clarity of thought.

Philosophical traditions also echo this necessity. In Phaedo, Plato reflects on how the physical world’s distractions—bodily needs, passions, and material concerns—interfere with the soul’s search for truth. He suggests that detachment from these influences brings us closer to genuine knowledge. Similarly, Seneca, in his Letters to Lucillus, asserts that "the place of supreme good is the soul," emphasizing that only a purified soul is capable of receiving divine insight.

Purity entails freeing oneself from worldly distractions, which act as barriers to perceiving the divine light of wisdom. By striving to live free from these encumbrances, we create a space for divine wisdom to illuminate our thoughts and guide our actions. As Proverbs 3:13-15 affirms, “Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding; she is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.”

 

The Fear of God: "The Fear of the Lord Leads to Wisdom" (Sir 21:11)

Another prerequisite for attaining divine wisdom is the fear of God. Sirach declares, “The fear of the Lord leads to wisdom” (Sir 21:11). This fear is not characterized by terror but by awe, reverence, and profound respect for God’s holiness and greatness. Such reverence motivates a life aligned with His commandments, as His wisdom influences every action. Those who honor God do so not merely with words but through deeds, consistently seeking to fulfill His will in all aspects of existence.

Psalm 111:10 reinforces the link between reverence and wisdom: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His commandments.” True understanding emerges when we live in accordance with eternal principles, acknowledging that God’s ways far surpass our own and seeking to reflect His glory in our choices.

The fear of the Lord is not a passive sentiment but an active force compelling righteous living. It calls for submission to His will, recognizing Him as the ultimate source of wisdom. By dedicating our actions and decisions to honoring the Creator, we position ourselves to receive His guidance and enlightenment.

 

Conclusion
